Privacy Policy

Off The Pine Personal Training ("Off The Pine", "we", "us") provides personal training in Canberra, ACT, at clients' homes and online. This policy explains what personal information we collect through offthepine.com.au and our coaching, how we use it, and how you can access or correct it. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.

• Booking form: your first and last name, mobile number, email address, your goal, what has stopped you staying consistent, when you want to start, your preferred location and the package you are interested in. If you arrived from a link with campaign tags, we also record those tags.
• "Start the conversation" form: your email address, an optional first name, where you are at with training and what you want to change.
• At-home price checker: the suburb or address you enter is sent to our mapping provider to calculate travel. It is saved only if you choose to send us an enquiry.
• Coaching: if you become a client, the information you share during coaching, which can include health, injury, fitness and lifestyle details, plus the training records kept in our coaching apps.
• Website use: Google Analytics records pages visited, device and browser type, approximate location and how you arrived, using cookies. Embedded YouTube videos and our scheduling tool may set their own cookies.

We use your information to reply to you, arrange and deliver your sessions, run your coaching program, send emails you have asked for, and understand how people use the website so we can improve it. We do not sell personal information.

Health and injury details are sensitive. We only collect them with your consent, we use them only to coach you safely, and we do not share them with anyone else unless you agree or the law requires it.

We use trusted service providers to run parts of the business, and they handle your information only to provide their service to us: our website and database host, our email provider, our coaching and community apps, our scheduling tool, the mapping provider used for at-home pricing, and Google Analytics. Some of these providers store data outside Australia.

We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, and we keep it only for as long as we need it for coaching, our records or the law.

If you have a privacy concern, contact us first and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
