For capable mums who have decided

Personal Training for Mums in Canberra

You already carry responsibility. Work, children, appointments and the needs of other people can fill every open space in the week. Off The Pine personal training is for Canberra mums who have decided their own strength belongs on the calendar too. Regular weekly times are agreed during booking, giving training a protected place instead of leaving it to whatever energy remains.

Your Back Yourself Session starts with an honest look at what has stopped you before. We set a floor you can keep during a difficult week and build from there. Your sessions develop useful strength, fitness and confidence at a level that matches your body now. You do not need to prove anything on day one. You need to arrive ready to learn and keep coming back. If you are returning to training postpartum, we build around any guidance from your GP or women's health physiotherapist.

This isn't for everyone. We don't do motivation, pep talks or chasing you for sessions. If you need someone to talk you into it every week, we're the wrong coaches. If you've decided and you want someone to hold the standard with you, book in. The partnership works because your coach provides the structure and honest feedback while you own the decision to follow through.

Your program is available in Everfit, and the community continues between sessions in Skool. Weekly check-ins cover Movement, Nutrition, Recovery and Accountability. The aim is not a short burst before the next interruption. It is to become a stronger, more capable mum who can count on herself, even when the week is full.

Training that fits around family life

Most mums do not need more motivation. They need a time in the week that is protected, a plan that survives a sick kid or a broken night, and a coach who notices when they drift.

You can train in Deakin or Civic, have a coach come to your home, or train online. Gold packages can be split into two 45-minute or three 30-minute sessions, which is often easier to fit around school and work.

FAQ

Personal training for mums: questions

Is there a female coach?
Yes. Off The Pine runs on a dual-coaching model, and Sara McKenzie, our co-founder, is one of your two coaches. Sara coaches you through check-ins, messages and video reviews between sessions; your in-person sessions are run by a qualified personal trainer.
When can I start after having a baby?
When your GP or women’s health physiotherapist is happy for you to return to exercise. We build your program around their guidance and progress from there.
I barely have time. Will this work for me?
Yes, if you protect the time. We agree fixed weekly sessions when you book and set a floor: the minimum you will do on your worst week, so busy weeks do not undo your progress.
Can you come to my home?
Yes. We bring the coach and equipment to homes across most of Canberra. A 60-minute session costs $169 to $229 including travel, depending on distance.
Are your trainers qualified?
Yes. Shannon and every Off The Pine personal trainer hold recognised fitness qualifications, professional registration and current first aid.
